About Not That Deep with Dana Joy

Hi, I'm Dana Joy! Welcome to Not That Deep. The point of Not That Deep is to recognize that life is deep, and it's important to recognize what's not.

I am from Westfield, New Jersey originally and went to Virginia Tech. I studied multimedia journalism there, but don't be fooled as when I first went I wanted to be a doctor. It took a volunteer trip to Panama where we were giving medical attention to the island that, maybe this whole 'doctor' thing isn't for me. I learned from the experience that I loved talking to people (i knew this before my mom paid for me to go). 

Not That Deep has transformed from a thought, to a podcast, to a channel, to a mantra, to a video podcast, to a social channel and now to a merch brand.
